Our behavioral health services have been put in place as way to embrace the well-being of our patients from a perspective that’s holistic. The sole focus of this multi-team member approach is to draw the connections between the patient’s behavior, and achieving the well-being of that patient’s body, mind, and spirit.

Anyone who enters our program is greeted by an entire support team, ready and willing to deploy services ranging from health screenings to trauma informed counseling, and beyond. Our staff of well-trained, deeply experienced Licensed Clinical Substance Use Disorder Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, work cohesively to meet the needs of our clients.

And while our mental health services are available to anyone in need, any of our clients that receive substance abuse evaluations are also offered mental health screenings, assessments, and medication management. We believe that mental health is quickly becoming a number one priority across the country, and our aim is to enhance the mental health and overall all well-being of our community.

An Overview Of The Teams

Licensed Clinical Substance Use Disorder Counselors

Our Substance Abuse Counselors provide both individual and group counseling to those that are struggling with and working to overcome substance abuse issues. That process includes, but is not limited to,

  • Providing direct and indirect support to patients suffering from drug or alcohol dependency
  • Educating families in the best ways to help in the recovery process
  • Designing treatment plans tailored to the patient’s past and current situation and circumstances.
  • Educating patients about community-based organizations that can aid in their recovery, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, employment services, community engagement and networking opportunities, and anything else that may help to restore the patient back to a healthier more productive role in the community.
  • Management of case history, progress reports, and modifications in treatment plans based on observations.

Assisting patients with how to cope with family, friends, and work-related problems in a way that’s constructive.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers

Our clinical social workers are deeply experienced in evidence-based practices designed to aid clients in coping with mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma, and relational and interpersonal challenges. Their ability to assess, diagnose, and treat psychosocial difficulties and mental illness, provides our team with a dynamic that enables us to dive deeper into underlying issues, confront them with proven treatment tactics, and help clients take appropriate steps forward. A typical workday for a member of our clinical social worker team would include much of the following:

  • Meeting with patients for the purpose of diagnosing mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders.
  • Conducting trauma informed counseling interwoven with an evidenced based approach to the patient’s substance abuse treatment plan.
  • Meeting and consulting with other care team members to aid in the development of treatment plans.
  • Helping to facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions.

Aiding Self Determined Recovery in the process of creating policies designed to promote the effectuation of change in the lives of our patients

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are instrumental in helping our team members and administrative staff assess the mental health condition of our patients. Part of that process involves looking into the patient’s relevant medical history, identifying risk factors, and performing psychiatric evaluations.

We also place a great emphasis on having our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners provide support and education to families and to the members of the communities in which we serve. Their work is intended to help us and communities develop policy, and forward progress efforts around health care reform.
